Man arrested for committing armed robbery at a Glenside CVS

The Abington Township Police Department announced the arrest of David Murray, 43, of Philadelphia, for committing armed robbery at a CVS Pharmacy (2622 Jenkintown Road in Glenside) on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at approximately 7:26am.

According to the report, a male suspect wearing a disposable medical mask approached a store employee, displayed a handgun, and forced the employee to provide access to the store’s office area. The suspect then removed currency from the safe and fled the business.

A joint investigation by Abington police, Philadelphia police, and the FBI identified Murray as the suspect.

Murray was arrested on July 16 and charged with multiple felony offenses, including robbery and firearms offenses. He was transported to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility where he was arraigned by District Justice Scott Palladino who set bail at $250,000.00 cash.
