Lynnewood Hall Preservation Foundation takes first step in revitalization process, seeking community feedback

The Lynnewood Hall Preservation Foundation, a nonprofit which officially acquired the estate on June 30, recently shared photos of the grounds which the organization has been working to revamp.

According to their announcement, they are starting the process by “taming the years of overgrowth” and from there, the LHPF plans to “expand outward.”

Their announcement concluded by asking the community for feedback regarding next steps.

From their Facebook post:

A core component of our Mission and Vision for this project is to protect and preserve the green space throughout the estate and make it accessible to the public. We are endeavoring to make part of the grounds accessible as soon as possible to allow you to come in and enjoy the beauty of the estate. It is very important for us to preserve the estate in its entirety and cultivate the gardens and walking paths for the enjoyment of the community.

Once open access can happen on the grounds, what sort of activity will you want to partake in and what would you like to see from us? We welcome and value your feedback as we diligently work on this next component of our plan.
