Lower Moreland, Upper Dublin townships receive grants for local parks

Senator Maria Collett announced this week grant funding for a number of local projects.

The grants were awarded through the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources’ (DCNR) Community Conservation Partnerships Program.

Grant recipients in greater Glenside include:

  • Lower Moreland Township – $250,000 for Lower Moreland Township Park.
  • Upper Dublin Township – $35,000 for the Twining Valley Park Master Site Development Plan.
  • Upper Dublin Township – $166,000 for Sunny Willow Trail – Twining Valley Park Connection.

“Investing in our parks strengthens our communities and makes good economic sense for Pennsylvania,” said Senator Collett. “I’m proud to have played a role in ensuring so many worthy projects in our district received funding, and I will continue to support efforts to protect and develop our natural resources for future generations.”
