Hannah and Rebecca Kideckel, senior twins with the Lower Moreland High School girls’ tennis team, were crowned state champs at the PIAA Class 2A championships last week.

“So so proud of everyone on this team. Everyone fought their hardest and never gave up,” the team’s Instagram posted. “Working so hard all season for sure paid off. Best time with the best team ever. We certainly made many core memories.”

Earlier this season, the Kideckels took home the District Doubles championship with an undefeated tournament run, and also won the SOL Freedom Division Doubles Championship.

The twins were named the Reporter/Times Herald/Montgomery Media 2023 Girls Tennis Athletes of the Year in 2023 after winning state, district, and SOL titles.
