The Lower Moreland Police Department is asking for the public’s helping in identifying a male and female who were seen peering into a home near Red Lion Road and Pine Road. Police believe the individuals may have been gauging the residence for a future crime.

From their announcement:

On Friday, 07/21/2023, at approximately 20:44 hours, LMPD Officers were called to a residence near Red Lion Road and Pine Road for the report of a male and female on the property. Upon arrival, they were gone on arrival. Video was provided and revealed the attached pictures, which show the male/female walked into the unfenced rear yard of the home, peered into one of the rear doors to the home and the male lifted a grill cover and appeared to be looking at the propane tank underneath. The male/female then walked off the property without any other actions. It was not known if the male/female were casing the home/property for a future crime. Their identities are not known to the property owner, nor any of the neighbors. Their reason for being there is not known.
