The Lower Moreland Police Department announced that Felix Martinez, 49, was arrested on January 13 for accumulating over $5,000 in fraudulent credit card purchases.
According to police, the victims parked at Pennypack Ecological Trust Park in Huntingdon Valley and went for a walk on the trail, which is presumably where the theft occurred.
At some point thereafter, they received text messages from their credit card companies inquiring if they had made several large purchases at various stores in the area.
An investigation identified Juan Jose Jady Bueno and Martinez, who was arraigned on Friday, July 5 and transported to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility.
