Lower Moreland police locate Huntingdon Valley woman wanted for shoplifting from a Warrington Aldi

Dianne Lynn Gallagher, 64, of Huntingdon Valley, was located by the Lower Moreland Police Department after being accused of stealing $330.41 from an Aldi in Warrington on November 5.

According to the report, Warrington police responded to the Aldi following employee reports of “a female who filled a shopping cart with merchandise, proceeded to the self-checkout, rang up only a few items, and exited the store without paying for the remaining merchandise.”

Warrington police shared the reports with surrounding agencies, and on November 11, Lower Moreland police located Gallagher and conducted a vehicle stop. Warrington officers responded to the stop and took Gallagher into custody, noting that the stolen merchandise was in plain view inside her vehicle.

Gallagher then made “unsolicited incriminating statements relating to her involvement in the theft” and was transported to the station, processed, and released, police said.
