The Lower Moreland Police Department announced today the arrest of Latajsha Monay Weems, 26, for stealing multiple items from the CVS retail store at 670 Welsh Road in Huntingdon Valley on Tuesday, February 4 at approximately 12:54pm.

According to the report, the store’s operations manage told police that a female took items without paying. A female suspect, later identified as Weems, was seen running from the store towards Huntingdon Pike.

A subsequent stop of Weems found her in possession of a pink bag with unknown items inside. She was unable to produce a receipt for the merchandise and was taken into custody.

Her charges are below:

• (1) COUNT OF 3929 B1II RETAIL THEFT/GRADING/M1
• (1) COUNT OF 3925 A RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY
