The Lower Moreland Police Department announced today the June 7 arrest of Roy Allen Bowman, 56, for shoplifting antifreeze from a local Wawa.
According to police, officers were dispatched to Philmont Avenue and Red Lion Road in Huntingdon Valley for an unrelated hit-and-run crash in the late afternoon hours. While reviewing surveillance footage from the Wawa at 2500 Philmont Avenue, officers observed a Dodge Ram enter the parking lot.
Bowman was seen entering the convenience store, after which he walked towards the beverage section, then towards the vehicle maintenance section where he picked up a gallon of Prime Guard Prediluted Antifreeze/Coolant.
Police said he bypassed all points of sale and exited the store with the black container before driving off in a pickup truck.
In 2016, Bowman was arrested and charged for stealing high-end bicycles and gear which allegedly belonged to the Wounded Warrior Project.
He was also arrested in 2010 for a host of offenses chronicled below and in 2006 for burglarizing a South Whitehall Township pharmacy.
