From their report:
On Thursday, September 28, 2023, at 1338 hours, LMPD officers were dispatched to 670 Welsh Road, CVS Pharmacy, for a theft in progress. Dispatch notes reported that an elderly white female, wearing a red Philadelphia Phillies hat and black sweatshirt, stole items from the store. The suspect reportedly left out of the front door, and it was unknown at the time if she left on foot or in a vehicle. Officers then determined that the suspect left as a passenger in an older model gold Honda Accord. While enroute to the call, officers were traveling southbound on Huntingdon Pike and observed a female matching the description of the suspect in the front passenger side of a vehicle matching the suspect vehicle. The female was wearing a red Philadelphia Phillies hat and a black hooded shirt. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. Upon approach, the operator identified himself and the passenger reported that her wallet was stolen but identified herself verbally as Michelle Dorsey. After further investigation and visual confirmation from the store caller/complainant, Michelle Dorsey was then placed into custody. With this being Dorsey’s eighth arrest for Retail Theft, this incident will be graded as a Felony of the third degree.
