The Lower Moreland Police Department announced today the arrest of Doniyor Karimov (above left), 24, for driving a stolen car through Huntingdon Valley.
According to the report, officers spotted a stolen white BMW X5 traveling westbound on Red Lion Road on Friday, October 10. The vehicle was reported stolen on August 21 and entered into the system on October 9 by the New York City Police Department.
Officers conducted a traffic stop and identified the operator as Karimov, a resident of New York City. Police said he was unable to provide proper documentation to prove ownership and was taken into custody.
A search of the vehicle recovered a black ski-type mask and a pair of black gloves in the trunk.

- (1) COUNT OF 3925 A RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY
- (1) COUNT OF 3928 A UNAUTH USE MOTOR OTHER VEHICLES
In related news, the department also announced the arrest of John Franklin (above right), 47, for violating a Protection from Abuse (PFA) order.
