The Lower Moreland Police Department announced today the arrest of Jason Kaszupski, 41, for drug possession/use and theft after causing a disturbance at a Huntingdon Valley business.

According to the report, an owner of a business at Welsh Road and Huntingdon Pike reported on May 18 that a male, later identified as Kaszupski, refused to leave the premises after being told not to return. Kaszupski allegedly became upset and started yelling at the complainant.

An investigation revealed that Kaszupski had an active warrant out of the Philadelphia Sheriff’s Office and was in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. He voluntarily admitted to using the drugs and drug paraphernalia, police said.

Further investigation revealed several stolen items in Kaszupski’s backpack, including checks and a credit card. The items were linked to a victim who reported that Kaszupski had stolen various belongings from their residence while staying with them.

He is being charged with the following:

• (1) COUNT OF 780-113 A16 INTENTIONAL POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE BY
• (1) COUNT OF 780-113 A32 USE/POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA
• (1) COUNT OF 3925 A RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY
