Lower Moreland police arrest man for assaulting a medic during ambulance ride

The Lower Moreland Police Department announced today the arrest of Oleksandr Zabrodin, 42, for assaulting a medic

According to the report, a male, later identified as Zabrodin was seen stumbling in the middle of the road at the 100 block of Tomlinson Road in Huntingdon Valley on Thursday, October 24. An investigation determined that he was under the influence of an unknown substance.

Police said Zabrodin became uncooperative and required medical assistance after slumping. While in an ambulance, he broke free from his restraints and assaulted a medic with a closed fist while attempting to break their fingers. 

His charges are below:

  • (2) COUNTS OF 2701 A1 SIMPLE ASSAULT (1) COUNT OF 2709 A1 HARASSMENT SUBJECT OTHER TO PHYSICAL CONTACT
  • (1) COUNT OF 5505 PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS AND SIMILAR MISCONDUCT
  • (1) COUNT OF 3544 C PEDESTRIAN WALK TOO CLOSE TO RWY
  • (1) COUNT OF 3544 D PEDESTRIN WALKING ON HIGHWAY
