The Lower Moreland Police Department announced today the arrest of Ihor Liakhovych, 24, after he was found intoxicated inside a stranger’s house on Sunday, April 27 around 4:00am.

According to the report, a report of an armed burglary in progress near the 2300 block of Pine Road in Huntingdon Valley led officers to Liakhovych, who was found unarmed inside the home. His clothing was stained and he “smelled heavily of alcoholic beverages,” police said.

He was detained and said he had been drinking at a bar earlier in the evening and did not know how he ended up inside the home.

The resident reported that they arrived from work to find Liakhovych sleeping on a chair near the side entry door, which was unlocked at the time.

His charges are below:

• (1) COUNT OF 5506 LOITERING AND PROWLING AT NIGHT
• (1) COUNT OF 5505 PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS AND SIMILAR MISCONDUCT
