Lower Moreland police arrest 21-year-old for possession of/intent to deliver illegal drugs

The Lower Moreland Police Department announced the arrest of James Nogueras Jr., 21, for the possession of, and intent to deliver, illegal controlled substances.

According to the statement, officers were on patrol in the area of Welsh Road on Tuesday, October 1 at approximately 3:31pm when they saw a silver Infiniti sedan traveling eastbound with a wrongfully attached license plate on it.

Officers conducted a traffic stop and spoke with the male driver and a passenger. An investigation revealed the passenger, later identified as Nogueras, was in possession of a large amount of drugs and cash.

Nogueras’ charges are below:

  • (1) COUNT OF 780-113 A30 MANUF/DEL/POSS/W INT MANUF OR DEL
  • (1) COUNT OF 780-113 A16 INTENTIONAL POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE BY
