Lower Moreland police arrest 19-year-old who assisted three burglaries at a Huntingdon Valley business, $70K worth of products stolen

The Lower Moreland Police Department announced today the arrest of Deen Ewis, 19, for burglarizing a business located on the 1400 block of County Line Road in Huntingdon Valley three times in November 2024.

During the initial burglary on November 19, Ewis and accomplices smashed the front left-side glass door to gain entry before stealing numerous products. An investigation revealed that a total of four suspects and a light-colored pickup truck were on-location after midnight. 

The following day, officers responded to another security alarm at the same location. Suspects arrived in a white Acura and shattered the front right-side door to enter the business before loading products into their vehicle.

On December 2, 2024, suspects broke two windows on the north side of the building. Investigation revealed a dark-colored sedan arrived at the business, suspects emerged from the vehicle, and products were loaded into the sedan. 

The total loss for all three burglaries was over $70,000, police said. 

On December 17, 2024, Ewis was investigated by the Philadelphia Police Department and found to be in possession of packages from the business previously burglarized. Further investigation confirmed him as one of the suspects in the burglaries. An arrest warrant was applied for and granted.

Ewis turned himself in to Lower Moreland police on March 17. His charges are below:
