The Lower Moreland Police Department recently said that thieves are stealing Dodge Chargers, Challengers and Durangos by removing the windshield and programing a generic key fob.
The department suggested that owners should invest in a wheel lock to prevent thefts.
The Department is also investigating a recent theft of a Dodge Durango. From LMPD’s Crimewatch:
The Lower Moreland Police Department is investigating a Motor Vehicle Theft that occurred on Saturday, April 15, 2023, between approximately 0300 – 0330 hours from a residence inside a neighborhood near Pine and Red Lion Roads. There was a dash camera on the windshield of the stolen vehicle. The windshield was removed by the suspect and left outside the residence. It appears the suspect arrived in a Dodge Durango. The vehicle was tracked and the last known location is in Cinnaminson, New Jersey.
