Rich Rosenau, longtime owner of Rich’s Deli in Fort Washington, announced yesterday that he has decided to put the business up for sale and retire.

It is with mixed emotions that I’ve decided to put Rich’s Deli up for Sale and retire. If you know anyone that might be interested please reach out. We will maintain normal operations until we have a buyer! Thanks! Rich

Located adjacent to Germantown Academy and next to the Fort Washington train station, the deli’s interior is decorated with local high-school banners, newspaper clippings of high school sports legends, photos of Rich’s two sons, and Philadelphia sports paraphernalia, including a seat salvaged from Veteran’s stadium.

Rich’s Deli celebrated their 45th anniversary in 2023. Rosenau took over the property on May 30, 1978.
