Local Eagle Scout refurbishing and fundraising for the Glenside Library, GoFundMe launched

La Salle College High School senior Nolan Hayes has made the Glenside Public Library his Eagle Scout project.

A GoFundMe titled “The Glenside Library refurbishment project” was launched on August 8. From its description:

Hi, I’m Nolan Hayes and I’m fundraising for my Eagle Scout project at the Glenside Public Library. I’m going to be installing two bike racks, replacing the compost bins, and clearing out weeds/mulching. Any and all donations are appreciated, and all of them will go to funding this project and therefore helping our community. Please share this page with anybody who might be interested in donating or helping in any way with the project. Thanks for your time.

The Glenside Library recently made headlines for promoting books that Central Bucks residents are trying to ban. For more on the Glenside Library, you can visit their Facebook page.
