Back in mid-July we asked Montgomery County for the number of cases of Coronavirus connected to daycares and camps in the county. The answer then was one, and it involved a daycare.

We followed up on this issue this week and learned that since July 1st (and into August thus far), there have been 10 cases at daycares. One daycare had two cases and the others had one. Contact tracing was conducted and to date, no additional cases have resulted.

Regarding camps, four camps had one case. Contact tracing was conducted and to date, no additional cases have resulted.

Please note, the ages of those involved weren’t revealed, so we do not know if the positive cases involved adults or children, or a mix.
