Montgomery County reports that on Saturday, August 15th there were 54 cases of Coronavirus, 41 on Sunday, August 16th, 26 on Monday, August 17th, and 46 on Tuesday, August 18th. The total number of cases since the start of the pandemic is now 10,311.

One death due to Coronavirus in Montgomery County was reported over this four day period (on August 18). There have been four deaths in August. The total number of deaths since the start of the pandemic is 824.

The 14-day PCR Positivity Rate is 2.79% as of August 14th. That is slightly up from August 7th when it was 2.76%. Having this number below 5% is considered to have the virus under control. It has been under 5% since June 18th.

The two charts above show the number of positive cases reported over the past 14 days. The number of cases over the past 14 days is 83 less than the previous 14 days. The number of cases over the past seven days is 26 more than the previous seven days.

• Cheltenham is 647 cases, which is 10 more than since August 14th. There have been 53 deaths, which is no change
• Jenkintown is at 34 cases, which is no change since August 14th. There have been no deaths, which is no change
• Springfield is at 626 cases, which is three more than since August 14th. There have been 90 deaths, which is no change
• Rockledge is at 19 cases, which one less than since August 14th. There has been one death, which is no change
