Lady Panthers basketball improves to a winning record behind senior guard’s triple-double

Maya Simmons, a senior guard of the Cheltenham High School girls’ basketball team, recorded a triple-double during the Lady Panthers’ 67-38 victory over Springfield Township High School on Wednesday, January 7.

A 1000-point scorer, Simmons dropped 31 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, and dealt 10 assists in the game, narrowly missing the rare quadruple-double. You can watch the evening’s highlights here.
