The Cheltenham Township Library System’s second annual Spelling Bee will be held at Creekside Market & Tap in Elkins Park on Friday, October 6 at 7:00pm, and Maureen Breen and Doug Tedeschi of La Mott Fire Company will be participating.

The Cheltenham Township Adult School, Sprinkles Ice Cream the CTLS Board of Directors, and the Tookany/Tacony-Frankford Watershed have formed teams as well.

Attendees will be entered into a prize raffle for a chance to win prizes from Primex, Target, and the Woodmere Art Museum.

Rules of the Bee: Teams will alternate spellers until one misses a word; the remaining team member keeps spelling until they miss a word or are the last speller standing. There will be a ‘weird word challenge’ in between rounds with audience participation.

A trophy and grand prize will be awarded to the winning team.
