Kisses for Kyle Foundation names 2024 scholarship recipients

The Kisses for Kyle Foundation of Willow Grove announced that Jillian Sayre (above left) and Kiara Rollins (above right) have been named this year’s scholarship recipients.

Each student will receive a one-year $5000 scholarship as they pursue degrees to help children facing a cancer diagnosis.

From the announcement:

We met Jillian Sayre and her family soon after her diagnosis with medulloblastoma in 2013 at the young age of 7. This Fall she will be entering Muhlenberg College to pursue a degree to become a Pediatric Oncology Child Life Specialist! It is her strong desire to help children facing a cancer diagnosis to help provide strong care, guidance, fun and love through her own life experiences.

Kiara Rollins was 19 years old when she was diagnosed with leukemia in 2020. She had already graduated high school and entered a college program for it to be placed on hold suddenly. Kiara will be entering a Nursing program at Roxborough Memorial Hospital School of Nursing to pursue a degree to become a Pediatric Oncology Nurse! Kiara will bring along her own life challenges which she endured to provide exceptional care to many children facing their own cancer diagnosis.
