If you’ve noticed a few dozen scarecrows camped out in Keswick Village this week, here’s why. The Village’s annual Spooky Scarecrow Contest began on Monday, and will continue through Halloween night.

The contest’s judges are area residents and shoppers, who are automatically entered to win a basket of seasonal goodies put together by Keswick merchants. Ballots can be found here.

The contest includes four categories: Scariest, Funniest, Prettiest, and Most Creative.
