As the Keswick Theatre unveils its fall show lineup, its refurbished Annex is open for box office sales and socializing in the concessions area, with a revamped “Zebra Room” soon on the way.

As a classy addition to the Theatre’s already massive interior, the Annex is partitioned into three different rooms: the box office, the concessions area, and the Zebra Room—nicknamed for its zebra-patterned carpet—which will eventually host smaller local acts.

“The Annex is a convening area for will call, restrooms, concessions and waiting. Previously, people had to wait outside before a show,” Judith Herbst, general manager of the Keswick Theatre, said. “People can be out of the rain, the cold and the heat. It’s conveniently connected.”

“You can have a drink with your friends who are attending a show even when you are not,” Sean Burke, the Theatre’s marketing manager, said.

The forthcoming Zebra Room will begin to treat guests to smaller performances sometime this fall.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming the community to small events,” Herbst said. “The room can house close to 60-70 guests.”

Hours:

Box office: 12:00pm – 5:00pm, Monday through Saturday
Concessions: Two hours prior to performances
Zebra Room: TBA
