The Keswick Community Resilience Coalition (KCRC) will host a kick-off to 2026 meeting on Wednesday, February 4 from 7:00pm – 8:00pm at Rooster’s in Glenside.
The KCRC was founded in fall 2025 to prepare residents of Abington, Jenkintown, Cheltenham, and beyond for emergencies such as flooding, power outages, and fires.
The meeting will explore ways the community can become stronger and safer together. Ian Costello, a Glenside resident and KCRC’s founder, asks that attendees bring their Abington Community Calendar if possible.
“We are very grateful to Matt Moyer (owner) and the whole Rooster’s team for being a part of our effort to make Keswick Village stronger, safer, more connected, and more resilient,” Costello said.
In December, the organization shared tips to prevent and handle snow damage.
