Courtesy of the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, the Jenkintown Shade Tree Commission will provide pro bono sapling trees to property owners. The Commission will plant trees for residents in a preferred location. Tree maintenance will be property owners’ responsibility.  

Interested residents may request a tree by email (jenkintownshadetree@gmail.com) or by calling Louisa Garrido at 917-532-0762. Please include your name, phone number, and street address in the email. Orders will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis until September 10th. Plantings will take place the weekend of November 19.
