In an e-mail addressed to Jenkintown Parents, Guardians, and Students, Jenkintown Superintendent of Schools, Jill A. Takacs, Ed.D, informed the community about an allegation made today about a potentially unsafe condition at school tomorrow.

There was an allegation today that posed a potential unsafe condition at school tomorrow. We have been in close contact with the Jenkintown Police Department who interviewed all parties and thoroughly investigated this allegation. The Jenkintown Police Department found NO CREDIBLE threat to school safety. They will continue to provide a visible police presence in and around our schools. The safety and security of our students and staff is our number one priority.
