With current members approaching the end of their terms, Jenkintown Borough’s Recreation board is putting out the call for volunteers to replace them. The Board stages family-fun events throughout town and needs new members to keep that happening. Currently, the Rec Board hosts:

• The Spring Egg Hunt
• The Summer Concert Series (weekly Tuesday night concerts in town square running June through August)
• The Chili Cook-Off
• Scare on the Square
• Light Up the Square (Christmas tree lighting and Santa visit)
