Fraud: 3-26-19 at 4:06pm: A resident in the 200 block of Wyncote Road reported that $300 in Google Play cards were purchased and provided to an unknown female over the phone claiming to be from Titan Electric. Detective unit investigating.

Fraud-theft by deception: A resident came to police station to report a PayPal scam in which he lost $1,200. Detective unit investigating.

Drug and cosmetic act violation: 3-28-19 at 7:37pm: As a result of police receiving numerous radio calls of a reckless driver southbound on York Road, vehicle and registration identified, John Clement, 51, of the 3300 block of Dogwood Lane, Willow Grove, was stopped by patrol. Clement displayed clear signs of impaired driving. He was transported to Abington Hospital by Second Alarmers for evaluation and blood draw.

Warrant arrest: 4-1-19, at 8:19pm: Alphonso payton, 32, of 800 block of Wellens Avenue, Philadelphia, was taken into custody after patrol received a radio call of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Maple Street and Hillside Avenue. As police checked the driver it was discovered that an outstanding warrant from Bucks County was active for Mr. Payton. He was released to Bucks County sheriff’s deputies.

Driving under the influence: 3-31-19, at 1:39am: Evan Mercier Hentz, 22 of the 500 block of Runnymede Avenue, Jenkintown, was arrested for driving under the influence as a result of his vehicle being stopped at West Avenue and Maple Street. Mr. Hentz was transported to Holy Redeemer Hospital for blood draw.
