Richard Wilezol arrested for assault at Beaver Hill

Assault and Related Offenses:  6-1-19 at 4:54am:  Police responded to Beaver Hill West Building, apartment 705 as a result of a radio report of a domestic disturbance with an assault. 

Responding Officers made contact with a female victim who was in a neighbors apartment.  She stated that her boyfriend, Richard Wilezol,37, who resides at Beaver Hill West, apartment 705 was intoxicated and assaulted her after an argument. Female was transported to Abington Hospital for visible injuries to her face and arms.  She also stated that he did have weapons in his apartment, but did not threaten her with them.   

Officers  were unable to make verbal or visible contact with Wilezol.  After several attempts to establish communication with him, the Montgomery County Emergency Response Team was notified to respond.  At 10:19am, Wilezol was taken into custody without incident.  He was transported to Montgomery County Correctional Facility pending arraignment.  Bail was set at $500,000, 10%.

Chief Albert DiValentino gave a press conference after the incident at Beaver Hill was concluded.

Jenkintown PD provided one other incident this week.

Public Drunkenness:  5-25-19 at 5:00am:  James Allen Breeden, 33, of 100 block West Avenue, Jenkintown, was cited for public drunkenness, as a result of patrol observing him in the area of Florence Avenue, disoriented and urinating in front of and on the property of a private residence. Breeden was escorted to his residence at Beaver Hill South.
