Theft from vehicles continues to be a serious problem in parts of the Borough. Please remember to lock up your car when you park it — even if it’s in your front yard.

Theft from Vehicles:  6-6-2019, at 7:00 AM:  Police received several reports of theft from vehicles in the area of Highland Avenue, Greenwood Avenue and Florence Avenue. Change and (1) laptop computer were reported missing from vehicles. All of the vehicles were unlocked. Detective unit investigating.

Theft:  6-7-19, 6:30 AM: A resident in the 300 block of West Avenue reported the theft of $185.00 from her apartment. No time frame was given. Report filed.

Theft:  6-8-19, at 7:30 PM:  A resident from Green Meadow Circle in Churchville reported the theft of her purse from her vehicle. Complainant stated she attended a game at Jenkintown School and parked her vehicle in the faculty parking lot. Credit cards and $300.00 in cash were taken. Vehicle was left unlocked. Detective unit investigating.
