The Jenkintown Police Department recently recognized three officers for outstanding work.

Officer Murtagh received a Commendation for Bravery when he arrested an armed individual who had just fired a handgun near two victims.

Officer Tuffy and Detective Sangree received a Commendation for Merit for the arrest of a check fraud suspect who had affected nearly 50 victims and who had stolen $100,000.00.

Both incidents took place in November 2022.
