Jeffrey Saputelli of Jenkintown was pronounced dead after a single-car crash in Philadelphia’s East Mount Airy section on the evening of Wednesday, September 6. He was 59 years old.

According to FOX29 News, Saputelli’s vehicle struck a pole before landing on a home’s lawn and catching fire near Ivy Hill Road and Fayette Street just before midnight. According to police, he lost control after suffering a medical emergency.

Authorities did not release any further details and the crash is under investigation.
