Jenkintown Borough Council recently honored nine-year-old resident Siani Whitmore for calling 9-1-1 emergency services to help her mother during a serious medical emergency.

According to Jenkintown police, Siani alerted first responders and was also able to keep her siblings safe until police and EMS arrived to their residence in Jenkintown.

An Official Citizen Commendation was issued by Borough Council and Mayor Lerman for her courageous effort and swift response to help her Mom.
