The Jenkintown Girls basketball team defeats Juniata Valley in overtime to capture the State PIAA 1A title at the Giant Center in Hershey that began at 12:00 p.m. today.

The girls are coached by Jim Romano, who captured his 600th win back in December, during his 36th season at Jenkintown High School. The team had an impressive overall 31-1 record and 12- 0 in the conference. This is the first time in team history to win the State Championship.
