The Montgomery County Commissioners announced today that nineteen projects throughout the County will receive Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. As part of that program, Jenkintown Borough will receive $200.000 or Curb Ramps.
The total amount of the grant awards for all the approved projects is $2, 335, 808 dollars and will fund 8 municipal improvement projects, 7 public service projects, and 3 housing renovation projects and one fair housing compliance grant.
