Jenkintown Borough released the holiday schedule for Borough Hall, trash collection and some holiday themed events in the Town Square.

Borough Hall Closed – November 25^th, 2021 and November 26^th, 2021: Jenkintown Borough Hall will be closed on Thursday, November 25^th, 2021 and Friday, November 26^th, 2021 in recognition of the Thanksgiving holiday.  Borough Hall will reopen on Monday, November 29^th, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.

Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, trash and recycling Collection will be collected on Saturday, November 27th, 2021.

Town Square Menorah Lighting: The Town Square Menorah will be lit for the Hanukkah holiday, however there will be no public lighting celebration. The first candle will be lit at sunset on Sunday, November 28^th, 2021. There will be a Menorah Lighting event at 610 York Road. Information regarding that event to follow.

Light Up The Square: The annual Holiday Tree Lighting event will be held on Saturday, December 4^th, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. in Town Square.  There will be music, refreshments, and a special visit from Santa at about 6:45 p.m.
Holiday Parking: Jenkintown Borough is pleased to announce that the holiday parking schedule begins Saturday, November 27^th, 2021 and will continue through the end of December. Metered parking is free Wednesday evenings after 4pm and all-day Saturday and Sunday. Fees are waived on those dates/times at any metered spot on the street or in either municipal lot.

Borough Hall Closed – December 24^th, 2021: Jenkintown Borough Hall will be closed on Friday, December 24^th, 2021 in recognition of the Christmas holiday.  Borough Hall will reopen on Monday, December 27^th, 2021 at 8:00 a.m.

Borough Hall Closed – December 31st, 2021: Jenkintown Borough Hall will be closed on Friday, December 31^st, 2021 in recognition of the New Year.  Borough Hall will reopen on Monday, January 3^rd, 2022 at 8:00 a.m.
