In honor of Leap Day, Jefferson Abington Hospital announced that Lester Cruz was born at 5:16am this morning.

He weighs 7 lbs, 1 oz and is 18 3/4 inches long.

His mother’s name is Luissiana (pronounced like Louisiana the state) and his father’s name is Leo. The family is from Northeast Philadelphia and this is the couple’s first child.

Look who picked Leap Day for their debut! We’re thrilled to celebrate Lester Cruz as Jefferson marks its 200th year of excellence in healthcare, education, and commitment to our community. Congratulations to proud parents on their precious new additions.
