Jefferson Abington Hospital has been ranked the 17th best hospital in Pennsylvania by a new Newsweek ranking system.

America’s Best In-State Hospitals includes 600 hospitals across all 50 states and the District of Columbia. The results are based on four data sources, including surveys by Newsweek’s data partner, Statista, of doctors, hospital administrators and other healthcare professionals, as well as patients, and Medicare and Medicaid data.

The University of Pennsylvania – Penn Presbyterian came in at number one with a score of 94.17%. Jefferson Abington’s score is 81.05%.
