The 2026 spring edition of the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade report evaluated two hospitals in greater Glenside.

The biannual ranking assigns letter grades to all general hospitals in the United States based on their ability to protect patients from medical errors, accidents, injuries, and infections. The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade is a public service provided by The Leapfrog Group, an independent nonprofit organization.

Jefferson Abington Hospital scored a “B” rating. It received an “A” in fall 2025. More details here.
