Jeanne Holt Brabson, a longtime counselor and faculty member at La Salle College High School in Wyndmoor, passed away on Thursday, January 2. She was 72.

An alumna of Melrose Academy, Brabson earned a master’s degree in social work from Gannon University and went on to dedicate over 40 years of her life as a guidance counselor for the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit and La Salle College High School, her obituary said.

“Her nurturing spirit, sense of humor, and warm presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of generosity, empathy, and service that will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her,” her obituary said.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation in Jeanne’s honor on Tuesday, January 14 from 9:00am to 10:00am at Saint Genevieve Church, 1225 Bethlehem Pike, Flourtown. A Memorial Mass will follow at 10:00am, with interment to take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jeanne’s honor to The Alzheimer’s Association of Philadelphia.
