‘In Memory of Keivon Abraham’ GoFundMe launched by the Abington community

A GoFundMe campaign has been launched by members of the Abington community on behalf of the grandmother of Keivon Abraham.

Keivon was a 16-year-old male from Abington Township who was shot and killed on May 29 in North Philadelphia.

From the campaign’s description:

The Abington community and the school district are devastated at the loss of such a young life. Keivon was a 16-year-old sophomore at Abington High School and looked forward to finding a job at a local car dealership this summer “so he didn’t need to ask his Grandmother for back-to-school stuff in the fall.” That ambition was tragically cut short when Keivon was added to the growing number of young men killed in Philadelphia over the weekend.

We hope to raise some money to help Keivon’s grandmother with the expenses of a funeral/memorial service and to ease some of the burdens during this unbearable time for their family. Please know that any donation will go directly to the family to plan for Keivon’s memorial.

$930 of the $10,000 goal has been raised as of 6:00pm on Friday, June 2. To view or contribute to the GoFundMe, you can click here.
