‘ICE Out For Good!’ protest to be held in Hatboro on Jan. 17

The Hatboro Democratic Committee announced that an “ICE Out For Good!” protest will be held on Saturday, January 17 from 11:00am – 1:00pm at Lehman Avenue and York Road in Hatboro.

According to the flyer, the protest is hosted by Hatboro Indivisible, which is a local chapter of Indivisible.org.

From the announcement:

We’re sure you all watched with horror and profound sadness as an ICE agent murdered Renee Nicole Good this week. Almost immediately, the tragic outcome was completely misrepresented by the President, the Vice President, and Secretary of DHS, making #iceoutforgood a horrible situation completely intolerable. So, we definitely felt the need to do something to express our outrage!

Organizers said the protest “will be on the sidewalks, no streets or private property” and that the main theme will be:

This is a way to share our feelings, while honoring Ms. Good! Please bring friends, noisemakers, American flags, and signs expressing whatever you feel! There certainly is a lot to choose from!
