Joey and Ellie Canale of Huntingdon Valley were interviewed by FOX29 for their coverage of the now-closed Gillian’s Wonderland Pier in Ocean City, New Jersey.

News of the family-run amusement park’s closure broke in August when owner Jay Gillian said the 94-year-old park had been suffering financial hardship and would shut down after this summer.

Its last day of operation was Sunday, October 13.

“We’re really sad to see it go,” Joey said.

“We’ve been going here since we were really, really young,” Ellie said.
