Human Robot “The Haus” in Jenkintown has canned up two of their favorites this weekend.
Burgenstraße—brewed in Jenkintown—and Callista have made their long-awaited returns. They are currently available in cans with drafts coming soon.
Burgenstraße is a 5.2% Franconian-style Zwickelbier inspired by the coal-fired kettles of regional Franconia. Burgenstraße “Castle Road” is brewed with 100% Vienna malt and Haller Tau hops, using the traditional Franconia-style decoction gleaned from an 1865 translation.
Callista is a 5.2% German-style Pilsner, brewed with Haller Tau Callista hops. Human Robot employed the same double decoction mash as our signature Haller Tau Pils but changed up the hop schedule to highlight this modern aroma variety. It drinks clean and bright with aromas of grapefruit and raspberry over a 100% pilsner malt base.
