The Downtown Glenside Foundation’s second annual Howl O’Ween Family Fun Day & Pet Parade will take place on Saturday, October 21 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm at 115 E. Glenside Avenue, and will feature pet vendors and family activities, including games for kids, food, drinks, live music, a lounge area for adults, and more.
Live entertainment will be provided by the Philadelphia Folksong Society, including folk duo “Persistent Resistors,” acoustic band “Groupie,” and “Urban Acoustic Trio.” A bounce house will be on location throughout the day, and the event’s sponsors include:

A portion of the pet registration fees will help support the efforts of Jenkintown’s Pooch Kaboose Dog Rescue, who will be on site.
Contest awards and honors include Best Costume, Best Trick, and Best Duo (dog and human). $10 tickets to enter the contest are available online through Eventbrite. $15 walk-in registrations will be accepted the day of the event from 11:30 – 12:15pm.
Attendees are encouraged to come in costume. Pet Parade registrants are asked to arrive between 11:30am and 12:30pm and head to the Downtown Glenside registration table. The parade will begin around 12:45pm.
