Last week was awesome with three great show from the Alan’s. Below is info on acts appearing this Oct. at the House of Magic.
Doc Dixon has fooled Penn & Teller on the hit TV show Penn & Teller:Fool Us. He has performed on The Late Late Show with James Corden and has twice entertained at The White House. For decades Doc has performed for corporate events, conventions, and cruise ships worldwide and currently tours theaters with his one man comedy & magic show, Too Much Coffee. Magic’s #1 trade journal said, “Doc is one of the truly great working magicians and a hilarious performer. He is inspiring on every level.” Oct 9/10th at 8 PM! Doc’s Lecture is on Oct 8th.
As a child, Fred Siegel saw a lady turn into a gorilla at Million Dollar Pier and the magic bug bit hard. While completing his doctoral dissertation, at NYU, Fred worked at the Coney Island Sideshow. Soon, he teamed up with his memory expert spouse, Gail, her mind reading sister, Deb, and his comedy brother-in-law, Eric and created Fred’s Magic World. They have appeared at many venues including Comedysportz, Sidequest Theater, Second Stage, Philly Fringe, and the original Smoke and Mirrors Magic Theater.
A unique comedy and magic show filled with spontaneity and lots of laughs! Spooky fun with pointy objects, psychic sisters, Houdini-like escapes, communication with the spirits, comedy improv, 21st-century takes on many classic feats and more! Oct 16/17th @ 8 PM.
