Holland, Roman, Menniti honored by Cheltenham Township

Commissioner Baron Holland, Rev. Dr. Gus Roman, and Vince Menniti were honored by the Cheltenham Board of Commissioners during their December 21 meeting.

Holland was honored for his eight years of service as commissioner. He will be retiring from the post on December 31.

“The Township thanks Commissioner Holland for his time, skillset, kind demeanor, and his significant contributions to several Township measures,” Cheltenham Township’s news brief said.

Reverend Dr. Gus Roman, a Wyncote resident for 40+ years, was honored upon the occasion of his 90th birthday. 

Public Works employee Vince Menniti was honored for noticing an individual in danger in the parking lot of Kleinheinz Pond and calling emergency services for life-saving aid.

“This is one of those special occasions it’s especially nice to be at Curtis Hall,” Board President Norris said.
